Job Description

We are looking for motivated and skilled candidates to join our client’s Hong Kong office as a Restructuring and Insolvency Assistant Manager / Senior Associate / Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily tasks associated with various compulsory and voluntary liquidations.
  • Provide support for bankruptcy, receivership, and restructuring projects.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and various client communications.
  • Help develop and implement industry-leading practices.
  • Network and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members.
  • Conduct investigations to facilitate asset recovery.
  • Attend client meetings and engage with stakeholders.
  • Oversee statutory and compliance aspects of insolvency cases.
  • Work on diverse projects and engagements, collaborating with stakeholders, creditors, and advisors.

Candidate Profile:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related business field.
  • CA, CPA, or an equivalent certification. Support will be provided for part-qualified candidates to complete the certification process.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience for the Senior Associate role, and 3+ years of relevant experience for the Assistant Manager role and above, including insolvency, restructuring, and forensic accounting.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Experience with cross-border projects is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese languages.
