Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data
  • Participate in the preparation of consolidated financial reports for regional and global management
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of internal control procedures and policies
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports as required by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other regional languages is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for regional meetings and projects
