Merchandising Assistant / Product Developer – Urgent Hire, Based in Central
Job Description
Our client is a globally recognized fashion brand, they are currently seeking a Merchandising Assistant or Product Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the eyewear/accessories industry and be able to support the end-to-end production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of product assortment strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sourcing, and sales to bring new products to market
- Monitor sales trends and analyze product performance to make data-driven recommendations
- Maintain organized records of product development timelines, costs, and samples
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of products
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the eyewear/accessories industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of eyewear manufacturing processes and materials
- Immediate availability to start in the role
