Our client is a leading multinational corporation with a stable and sizable supply chain team. They are now seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to drive efficiency and streamline processes within their logistics operations.

Job Summary

The Logistics Operations Manager will enhance logistics operations and work closely with all members of the supply chain team to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, and ensure seamless coordination. The role also involves preparing reports  and serving as a support and backup for the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current logistics operations to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with the supply chain team, including senior sales heads and logistics shipping roles, to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on business performance, identifying key metrics and areas for improvement.
• Act as a backup and support system for the logistics team, stepping in as needed to ensure continuous operations.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the supply chain team.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain high service levels.
• Maintain accurate records of processes, improvements, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics operations or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvements.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
