Job Description
Our client is a global MNC, they are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Logistics Officer to support our logistics team in coordinating the entire process from contract to delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the logistics team in coordinating the end-to-end process, from contract initiation to final delivery
- Support the team in managing sea freight operations, including booking, tracking, and documentation
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of issues
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and related documentation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and procedures
- Learn and adapt to new logistics techniques and best practices under the guidance of experienced team members
- Assist in preparing reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making
- Provide general administrative support to the logistics team as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the logistics industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
