Job Description
Our client is a responsible tech startup that is seeking experienced Legal and Compliance Manager to join their team and help them navigate the complex legal and regulatory landscape of the tech industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on various matters, including contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, and employment law
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to mitigate legal and regulatory risks
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decision-making
- Review and negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, partners, and vendors
- Manage legal and compliance documentation and record-keeping
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field
- Proven experience as a Legal or Compliance Professional in a tech startup environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy, intellectual property, and employment law
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with legal research tools and databases
