Job Description
A leading property fund in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned HR Director to lead and manage their human resources function. The ideal candidate will be a mature, responsible, and presentable professional with extensive experience in building and leading HR teams within the property sector, with a strong track record of overseas hiring. Immediate availability is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives
- Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training and development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing HR team to support the organization’s growth
- Design and implement effective HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with local labor laws and best practices
- Partner with senior management to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities specific to the property industry
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture that attracts, retains, and engages top talent in the property sector
- Manage employee relations issues with professionalism, sensitivity, and confidentiality
- Develop and manage the HR budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements, particularly those relevant to the property industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the property sector
- Proven track record of building and leading successful HR teams in the property industry
- Extensive experience in overseas hiring and managing international talent
- Deep understanding of Hong Kong labor laws and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in English; fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus
- Immediately available or with a short notice period strongly preferred
