Our client is a reputable company in the property industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, risk, tax, and treasury. You will be instrumental in providing strategic financial leadership to support our business goals and growth.
- Oversee all financial operations of the company, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and ensure that these are adhered to.
- Lead internal control improvements to ensure integrity in all financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage company taxes to ensure compliance with legislation.
- Handle treasury matters and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Leverage industry knowledge to manage and calculate leasing and land costs effectively.
- Participate in preparation of the strategic plan to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to make decisions on potential investments and acquisitions.
- Ensure all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a focus on property/real estate.
- Strong knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards.
- Proven experience in financial process improvement.
- Strong finance-based analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
