Job Description

Our client is a leading listed company in Hong Kong, committed to sustainable business practices and creating long-term value for our stakeholders. They are seeking an ESG Reporting Manager to join their team and drive their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting initiatives.

The ESG Reporting Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s ESG reporting strategy. This role will work closely with various departments to collect, analyze, and report on ESG data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company’s ESG reporting strategy, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with various departments to collect and analyze ESG data, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Prepare and publish annual ESG reports, sustainability reports, and other related disclosures.
• Monitor and stay up-to-date with ESG reporting standards, frameworks, and regulations, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and HKEX ESG Reporting Guide.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and NGOs, to communicate the company’s ESG performance and address their concerns.
• Identify and recommend areas for improvement in ESG performance and reporting.
• Collaborate with the management team to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and decision-making processes.
• Conduct training and workshops to raise awareness and build capacity for ESG reporting within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability, or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and HKEX ESG Reporting Guide.
• Excellent data analysis and report writing skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using ESG data management tools and systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
