AVP/VP – Cybersecurity
Job Description
A fully licensed financial services firm in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced AVP/VP – Cybersecurity to enhance and maintain the security posture of the firm’s digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of cybersecurity threats, and manage incident response plans.
- Design and implement robust security architectures and controls, and oversee security tools and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with auditors.
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, and develop security training programs for employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Proven experience in incident response, threat management, and security operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
