Assistant Manager / Manager – US Tax Advisory

Job Description

Our client is a leading tax advisory firm based in Hong Kong, specializing in providing US tax advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and family offices. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service and tailored solutions, the firm is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality US tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and/or funds
• Conduct research and analysis on complex US tax issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Prepare and review US tax returns, disclosures, and other related documents
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective tax planning strategies
• Stay up-to-date with changes in US tax laws and regulations, and provide timely insights and recommendations to clients
• Assist in business development activities, including client outreach and proposal preparation
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in US tax advisory, with a focus on individual, funds, or corporate tax
• CPA or EA qualification is strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential
• Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office suite
• Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager or Manager position.
