Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team. This role will handle finance operations with a strong emphasis on internal control and process improvements. We prefer candidates with a background in Big 4 accounting firms and commercial experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily finance operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Focus on strengthening internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analysis to support management decision-making
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a Big 4 accounting firm combined with commercial experience
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Stable work history with a track record of success in similar roles
