Our client, a leading global multinational corporation, is seeking a highly skilled Head of Reporting to oversee financial reporting for their global entities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting, a Big 4 accounting background, strong communication skills, and a polished, professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the global financial reporting process across the company’s international entities
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
- Oversee consolidation of financial results from subsidiaries and foreign operations
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process
- Provide financial insights and analysis to senior leadership to drive sound business decisions
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of reporting professionals
- Continuously improve reporting processes, systems and controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA qualified
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial reporting experience, ideally with a Big 4 accounting firm and/or large multinational companies
- Deep technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS and relevant regulations
- Proven track record overseeing reporting for global entities across multiple jurisdictions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is a must
- Polished, professional and presentable with the gravitas to interact with C-suite
- Willing to travel internationally as needed
